My Makita BBX7600 Review:

I found out quickly that in addition to the awesome power this blower creates, it also had many other attractive features. That’s another thing I like about the Makita company is that not only do they produce high quality power tools, they also do an excellent job of describing their products so you know exactly what you are getting before you buy. That is one of the many reasons why so many of the backpack blower reviews online have come back positive for this model.

The Makita BBX7600 backpack blower comes with a commercial grade, 4-cycle, 75.6cc engine that is responsible for producing the high air speeds. If you have been using a less powerful backpack blower like an Echo or Troy-Bilt, get ready for quite an adjustment. The power differential is night and day.

Also, if you are one of those people that doesn’t like having to mix oil and gas, then you will love this backpack blower. Once you have given it the right amount of oil, simply add gas and you’re ready to go. And, it’s easy to start every time thanks to Makita’s decompression system.

Another thing I liked about the Makita BBX7600 is that it is designed to run longer than other comparable models and also produces less noise. How do they do that? Well, for one, the blower comes with a large, 64 ounce fuel tank. That gives the operator the ability to use the blower for up to 80 minutes straight. No wasted time frequently filling up the gas tank. In addition, the leaf blower comes with a large capacity muffler that makes it the quietest blower in its class.

Since the Makita BBX7600 can run for up to 80 minutes without makita harness strapshaving to refuel, it better be comfortable to use. Don’t worry, they covered that too while designing this backpack leaf blower. It weighs in at 22.6 pounds, which is about average to other similar backpack blowers on the market. It has wide support straps and a ventilated back panel for extra comfort. The handle grip can be adjusted to make it more comfortable to use and there is a throttle lock so you don’t have to hold down the trigger the whole time.

So let’s review: this blower is super powerful, well designed, quiet, and comfortable to use. Is there anything not to like about the Makita BBX7600? Not according to those who have purchased it. It has received nearly all positive reviews. Really, the only thing people aren’t crazy about is the price tag. Yes, it does in fact cost more than most backpack blowers available today. But I personally would much rather pay a little extra to get a leaf blower from a trusted company that works great and will last over time. Especially when you consider that it comes with a full three year warranty.

The Makita BBX7600 is “engineered for commercial lawn and garden work”. So whether you are a lawn and landscape professional or a serious do-it-your-selfer, you can’t go wrong with this backpack blower.
